Delivering Better Health for Women Everywhere
In November 2015, we completed our acquisition of Famy Care’s female healthcare businesses. The transaction brings us a broad women’s care portfolio, strong technical capabilities and dedicated hormone manufacturing, which, when combined with our expansive global commercial footprint and supply chain infrastructure, will create a leading women’s healthcare franchise.
The portfolio includes a comprehensive range of women's health products that will bring additional value to our current women’s healthcare offering in North America and bolster our current women’s care portfolio in India. In addition, we will continue to leverage our powerful commercial platform in Europe, now enhanced through our Abbott deal, and build upon our existing commercial presence in emerging markets, particularly India, to further accelerate our global growth in this important therapeutic area.
We are excited to welcome the nearly 1,000 dedicated employees to our Mylan family who will join us in our cause to create better health for a better world, one person at a time.
